Mini Drive School of Motoring was formed in 2003, offering driving lessons in Shrewsbury, and since then has built a great reputation based on Quality and Integrity. This ethos has resulted in us having excellent pass rates with many of our pupils passing first time. Initially, the company was made up of 2 cars, but since then more cars have been added to the fleet, and we are now able to offer driving lessons in Shrewsbury and Telford. Expansion into other areas of Shropshire and mid Wales is planned ,so wherever you live in the local area you will soon be able to learn in a Mini!! Integrity is at the heart of our business, which is why we don't offer dirt cheap starter lessons like the statements you see above and all over the internet. This is because the only way the instructor can make a profit is to sit on the side of the road talking for the first 5 hours. Only after the 5 hours will you get any real instruction.

At Mini Drive we prefer to offer cost effective lessons from the start. This way you know how much you'll be paying for your lessons from day 1 to test day.

The Mini model is an individual car with a special place in the hearts of many people. At Mini Drive our instructors are as individual as their cars, with each instructor customizing the look of their car to their own individual taste.

At Mini Drive we ensure that all instructors who join are ENHANCED CRB CHECKED, FULLY QUALIFIED, and can provide instruction at the highest level whilst maintaining a professional attitude at all times. Our aim is always to create a relaxed and fun environment in which to learn. All our instructors abide by the code of practice set out by the DSA.

Patience and a friendly approach are paramount to the way in which we conduct our lessons, as driving is a practical skill that requires a high degree of coordination. Everybody's ability to develop this coordination is different, and the rate of progress differs from person to person. Therefore, as instructors, we build our lessons around your ability, so that you can be sure of positive progression and not a stream of negative comments.
