Dave Smith

Dave joined mini drive in the winter of 2009 and has not looked back since. Having been trained to instruct by Mini Drive he has quickly developed an excellent reputation as a quality instructor.

His love of extreme sports including competing in worldwide downhill mountain bike events as well as bmxing, Moto x and snowboarding to name but a few has left him with a relaxed view on life.

David has used this relaxed attitude to develop a teaching skill that makes even the most nervous pupil feel at ease.

He prides himself on creating a calm atmosphere that shows pupils that learning to drive is an enjoyable experience that results in a strong base for safe driving for life.

Daves choice of car is the Mini First. It has a slightly smaller engine than many other cars which makes it ideal for teaching people to drive.

Learning to drive in a Mini is an experience that is remembered long time after passing the driving test – safe and great fun to drive.
