Gordon Morkot
Gordon Morkot is a co-founder of Mini Drive, having 9 years' training and instructing experience.
Having first spent three and a half years at a National Driving School, he decided it was time to spread his wings and go independent.
Which car to use was his major concern. He wanted a small car, suitable for learner drivers thatstood out from any other and was fun and safe to drive.
There was only one that ticked all the boxes – the BMW Mini.
Gordon brings many years of driving experience, both internationally and in Shropshire. He strives to put hispupils at ease from their very first lesson by adopting a no nonsense approach to his teaching. Besides teaching his clients to a high level of competence which more often than not allows them to pass their test first time, he takes pride in the fact that they are taught 'safe driving for life'.
Gordon is in the enviable position where the vast majority of his clients are referrals from past pupils who have passed their test because of his straightforward, jargon free approach to teaching.
His third Mini since the inception of Mini Drive in September 2003 is the Mini Cooper Diesel. This car supplies ample power and torque for moving off with ease which helps build confidence when learning to drive.
Learning to drive in the Mini is an experience that is remembered long time after the stress of successfully passing the driving test – safe and great fun to drive.
