A former UK female young driver of the year and European finalist, Shona joins Mini Drive with three years instructor experience. Having driven everything from a road sweeper to a six wheeler army all terrain vehicle, Shona believes that she has the wide breadth of knowledge required to produce top class drivers. Having passed no less than five different practical driving tests, (including two in the states in left hand drive cars and her LGV – large goods vehicle), she also believes that she is the most tested instructor available!

Shona's Mini of choice is the Cooper Diesel as it gives her pupils the maximum help with learning in those early days and it gives Shona the comfort and enjoyment that she needs for her longer journeys.

Shona likes challenging herself; her last was a 300km cycle round Jordan and her next is a 450km cycle across China for charity. Shona specialises in pupils that find the process of learning to drive a mammoth challenge and finds nothing more rewarding than her pupils saying goodbye after completing their own personal challenge.
